Annual General Meeting

As mentioned in our most recent update, our annual general meeting will be held on Friday 9 October at 7.30 pm. The venue will be the Elizabeth Wyatt House in Barton Street, giving us an opportunity not just to support a sister community charity but also to showcase our new banner storage facilities where our banners will have been safely tucked away for the winter after they come down on 27 September. Tea and coffee will be on offer, but if you fancy something a little stronger, feel free to bring along a bottle and glass.

As always, the AGM will provide the opportunity to report on our finances and activities over the past financial year and obtain endorsement of them prior to making our annual report to the Charity Commission. In truth, the formal part of the evening is fairly short and sweet, giving us a chance to catch up with members and discuss the year ahead.

We'll post the accounts on here ahead of the meeting to avoid printing out lots of copies, and look forward to seeing some of our more local members in person.
